Shayna and Mike thought Tilden Park in the Berkeley Hills would create some nice backdrops.  They thought right!

Mr. B was two months early to the world, perhaps the better to dominate it.  He made short work of the hills of west Berkeley’s largest park while the sun sat into the Golden Gate.  Go, Mr. B!

Although I usually obscure child’s name by only listing the first initial of their first name, I couldn’t resist leaving Miss B. Star ‘s middle name in place.  She sounds like a rockstar!  When Miss B. would fuss, her parents had found (on an uncle’s recommendation) that turning on the vacuum cleaner seems to calm her down.  It worked like a charm (much to the chagrin of their cat), until of course the vacuum started to overheat.
