Chris and Alisha made pure magic in west Marin county.  We fell in love instantly during our first visit to Alisha’s hometown of Tomales.  During the engagement shoot, the home next to her mothers (built in the 1890s) went up for sale, and Shan and I made came just shy of placing a bid on that house.  They were married in the backyard of the house where Alisha grew up.  We then walked all the way across town (a total of three blocks) to the old town hall, where they had their reception.  Among the highlights were the band The Brothers Comatose, who brought a serious dose of bluegrass to the festivities.  Shan also found the  walk-up candy counter to be right up her alley.  The sweetest touch were the old typewriters set up where people could leave their well wishes to Alisha and Chris.  Many thanks to Sara, who introduced Alisha and Chris to us!

Tisha and Jay are both pediatricians in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  They met in Oakland and consider the Bay Area home.  Their day included preparations south of Market with a short walk to the Yerba Buena gardens with San Francisco’s MOMA as a backdrop for the nuptials.  Everyone relocated to the spectacular RF80 partyspace where we caught some serious booty shaking.  Congratulations to T & J!

Tisha’s bridesmaids called on me a few days before her bridal shower to join them high over Union Square in San Francisco to document the fun.  With afternoon tea and sandwiches came laughter, shower games that I never knew existed, and a few presents I refrained from documenting.  Discretion is key!
