Emily and Brian (also known as Red) have their wedding coming this October at the Wine & Roses in Lodi. We met them near Prairie City to capture some of the natural flora of the northern California Sierra foothills, then on to Willow Creek to capture Lake Natoma and the American River near their new home. Keep an eye out for the wedding in a few months!
Becks and Seth both work in health care in the Bay Area. They married at the Oakland Women’s Art Club in the Montclair district of Oakland. The club has a gorgeous interior, and Becks and Seth spiced up the night with an elaborate cupcake cake and perhaps the greatest cake topper I’ve ever seen. Many thanks and congratulations to you both!
Tisha & Jay flew in near midnight from Michigan to shoot their engagement photos and set up wedding details for next May. They first braved a frigid, foggy pre-dawn shoot at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco to capture some of the California dawn light. After a sojourn around the lagoon, we met again on the beaches of the East Bay to catch Sutro Tower and the San Francisco skyline in the background at sunset. We heard the story of Jay’s asking Tisha out for the first time (after one or two false starts): in true traditional style, their first date was a movie at the El Cerrito Speakeasy on San Pablo.
A lot of brain power here: Tisha and Jay are both pediatricians. But clearly more important: these two have true model stamina. They shot for over 5 hours on one day! Keep your eyes peeled for their second day of indoor shooting, with a special surprise, to come soon!
