I caught Miss M in the hills one fine morning, where she braved tabletop portraits and moments on the porch settee. She had smiles, cuddly moments with Mom & Pop, and a hairdo that defies description (see the photos!) and that made my wife an instant fan. She also had a stalwart dachshund guard that made sure I didn’t get out of line.

Mister G is a hunk of pure personality, all smiles, giggles and fixed interest in whatever I was doing. Dad also taught me an important monkey impersonation for getting his attention, which involved jumping around, swinging my free hand in the air, and yelling “photographer’s a monkey!” Anything for smiles!

In the early morning on a crisp autumn day, I arrived at Miss A’s house to find both her pairs of grandparents making chai and setting the stage for a sunrise session. Sunrise and the hour afterwards is my favorite time to shoot infants. Miss A’s grandparents had everything set up for the day. And her grandfather may buy one of my lenses! Miss A’s family made the session light and easy.
